Weighbridge Clerk/Operator

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Weighbridge Clerk / Operator.

Full training will be provided.

Due to the location having your own vehicle would be recommended.

Holidays will be in line with statutory requirements and pension fund.

Job Role & Specifications

Boden & Davies Ltd have a vacancy within the Transport Department for a Weighbridge Opertor/Clerk. This is a permanent position and the hours of work are Monday – Friday 4pm – 10pm, hourly rate of pay £9.50 per hour.

The role will include

weighing in and out HGV vehicles delivering, and
collecting from our site in Astley, using our bespoke software.

Other responsibilities will include

efficient data entry, dealing with queries and anomalies on paper work,
emailing customers,
producing weekly/monthly reports and
answering the telephone.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all pedestrians/visitors permitted entrance on site, wear the correct PPE and are signed in and out, and will be capable of administering and enforcing the site rules to all visitors.
