At Bodens, from our main base in Manchester, we offer a wood collection and recycling service for all types of industries from small independent manufacturers, to large scale waste transfer stations. Our large logistics network allows us to collect wood waste nationwide, recycle this at our main depot and deliver across the UK to various outlets.
In order to ensure we provide the best quality products to our customers, we run prerequisites on all wood collections to ensure the best grade is collected, see below for our acceptable and non-acceptable wood grades:

Grade D Wood, also classified as hazardous wood will not be accepted as part of our wood recycling service.
The woods we will not accept include:
Any loads containing grade D wood waste will be rejected. Waste suppliers will be contacted, and material (including transport vehicles) will be held on site pending consignment to a licensed hazardous waste disposal facility.
Excessive contamination of loads with the following unacceptable materials will result in the loads being rejected or excess charges being applied: – Paper, cardboard, upholstery (e.g. chair fabric, foam etc), plasterboard, plastic (including uPVC windows and doors), glass (must be completely removed from doors & window frames), roof coverings containing felt or tar, aggre-gates (e.g. soil, sand, stones, bricks, ash), general industrial or domestic refuse, green waste (i.e. foliage, twigs, leaves etc), excessive dust.
Segregation & disposal charges will be applied for contamination with unacceptable materials. Loads may be rejected/downgraded and charged accordingly
